PAT Work Groups

PAT represents and advocates for parents, especiall parents and carers with disabled children and children who have additional needs. All parents are automatically entitled to membership. It doesn't cost anything to become a member.

PAT is completely independent, autonomous and impartial; we are run by parents for parents and their families. This means that you can count on us to be on your side.

Every parent is welcome to join in our activities. You can:-

Come to the monthly support group meetingsJoin a work group or start one of your ownHelp us to raise funds for PAT projects and activitiesTrain to be a PAT parent advocateBecome an elected offcer and committee member

We work on three levels:-

National campaignsRegional networksLocal advocacy

Why not try this little exercise to look at your own skills, interests and preferences. Currently we are looking to recruit more parent volunteers who would like to help by:-
