PAT Chat
Here it is....The PAT Chat Room! To use this feature you need an account on the PAT website. Account applications are subject to approval in order to prevent any misuse. Users must register with a valid email address which will be checked out! The PAT Chat Room is unmoderated. If you need to report misuse then please email the Webmaster who can suspend or remove account privileges if that should become necessary.

How to use the PAT Chat Room:
Chat is a brilliant way of discussing stuff or getting help with a problem. It's also a great way of staying in touch with each other and meeting new parents.
Click on the 'Join' button and follow the instructions to apply for an account on this site.
When your account has been approved you will receive an email in your inbox.
Now you are ready to use the PAT Chat Room.
Type your message in the bottom box on the Chat Room window and click the send button.
Your message and any replies will appear above in the main window.
The best way to get a lively Chat community going is to recruit parents who you want to meet in the Chat Room and encourage them to join the site and get their own account.
The other thing we would advise is that you actually make appointments with each other to meet in the Chat Room; you can post a Chat meeting on the PAT Forum threads, on the guestbook or on the comments threads. There is also a booking page under the Chat window where you can post Chat invitations. Simply enter your username or 'handle' and suggest a date and time when you will be on-line. Alternatively email your friends to set up a PAT Chat session.
Click on the 'Join' button to apply for a Chat Room account before posting an appointment.
Post your details here if you plan to use the Chat Room as a regular visitor at certain times of the day or night.
Post an invitation here if you want to call a Chat Room meeting about a particular subject or issue. Make sure you specify the date and time. Invitations will be removed by the Webmaster after the date and time have expired.
Post your suggestions for a Chat Meeting discussion topic and then monitor the threads to see who else is interested.
